Employee Survey Process

Survey Design
The content, look, and feel of each survey is customized based on conversations our consultants have with you and those in your organization. This often includes conducting focus groups with representative employee groups to get at their perceptions and better tailor the survey. It is also at this point that languages needed are decided - we have conducted surveys in over 25 different languages.

Survey Administration
Surveys can be administered online or distributed on paper when necessary. Usually employees have two or three weeks to complete the surveys. Email reminders are periodically sent to maximize participation.

Project Management
Our project managers are experts in the employee survey development and administration process. They are available to speak with you during regular business hours via telephone or through email correspondence.

Participation Reports
Participation rate is tracked by the project manager. Raters and participants receive reminder emails to ensure a sufficient response rate per participants, and the client can track participation using our real-time online participation report.

Overall Reports
Our employee survey reports provide a clear and intuitive view of the survey results. Scores are shown by frequency and with bar charts to compare results by question. Results are broken down by department and by a variety of different demographic categories. The report includes written comments and is printed in color and bound.

Manager Scorecards
This report is usually one to two pages in length and includes only the data collected from the employees under each manager. These reports are designed to facilitate action planning sessions conducted by the manager with his or her employees. The reports are color coded- red, yellow, or green- to show how each score compares to the organization average. An action planner is included that is used by the manager to interpret the report and create goals for improvement with the team.
